Hi, I'm Eli Worthy

Hello, my name is Eli Worthy. Yes, it's true I am 18 and the youngest candidate in Texas! I graduated from McKinney Boyd HS in 2025. I now attend the University of Texas at Dallas studying Business Administration. I also earned my Eagle Scout in 2023, my Black Belt in Kung-Fu in 2020, and a National Eagle Scout Association Scholarship in addition to my Academic Excellence Scholarship from UTD.
Why am I qualified?
A lot of people don't know that a Justice of the Peace is one of the positions that doesn't require you to have any experience and that's because they are a steward of the people.
In addition to that once someone wins the election they are required to attend "Judge School" which is put on by the "Texas Justice Court Training Center" and the "Justice of the Peace and Constable Association." These are between the general election in November and when you officially take over in January. After you attend these intensive trainings they give you several online resources to help you rule justly, fairly, and in accordance with the law. This way you are never left in the dark.
So when people ask me this I believe the question is NOT "What qualifications do you have?" but "What qualities are within your heart?". Anyone can learn the law but no one can teach you your character.
Why am I running?
Section Title
For a lot of my life I have struggled to see a point in it. For the longest time I have just wanted to help people that is why I wanted to start a business and provide for those employees. When I was sitting in my Business Law class in the Fall of 2025 my professor talked about the legal system and how anyone can run for positions. When I heard that I decided that this was my time to make a difference. To inspire people to make their voices heard. We cannot ignore politics anymore. It has become more dire than ever that we need to elect people that care about the general public. My goal has always been true from the beginning to help as many people as possible and that is what I will do.
